Finding Unique Locations for Photoshoots


If you love greenery but you're tired of your typical blue sky, green grass parks, I have a sweet suggestion for you.


As a photographer, it is basically my duty to capture things in a unique, artistic way whether that has to do with my actual camera settings, or surroundings. Next time you have a client wanting to do something fun and earthy, I highly recommend a plant shop/ greenhouse photoshoot.

The Potting Bench, Winter Haven


My client Symone, actually found this location while we were planning her birthday portraits. The Potting Bench located in Winter Haven, FL is a quaint plant shop on the corner of Avenue C SW and 3rd St SW, right across from where the Winter Haven farmer's market takes place.


I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Kathryn who excitedly allowed us the space to use for our shoot. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with this calming aura as you see plants and vines winding all throughout the space. If earthy, bohemian, relaxing vibes are what you are looking for then you've hit the jackpot!
