A FULL CIRCLE MOMENT:

Some love stories feel special.

And then some feel full circle.

Lashunda and Harold’s journey is one I’ll never forget — because I had the honor of documenting it from the very beginning. From capturing their engagement photos as fiancés, to standing behind my camera again one year later as they became husband and wife… it was more than just a booking. It was a complete love story unfolding in real time. 🤍

💕 THE BEGINNING: ENGAGEMENT SEASON

When we first shot Lashunda and Harold’s engagement session on Upham Beach in St. Petersburg, Florida, there was a softness to their love. The kind that’s filled with anticipation, excitement, and all the dreams of what’s to come.

They laughed easily.

They moved naturally.

They were already building something solid.

Engagement sessions are such an important chapter. It’s the “before” — the promise, the planning, the glow of being newly engaged. That season deserves to be documented just as intentionally as the wedding day itself.

💍 ONE YEAR LATER: THE WEDDING DAY

Fast forward one year at Carollwood Country Club in Tampa, FL, I found myself documenting a completely different energy — deeper, grounded, intentional.

The way Harold looked at Lashunda during the ceremony?

Stronger.

More certain.

Full of commitment.

The wedding day wasn’t just beautiful — it was emotional in a different way. You could see the growth. The transition from fiancé to spouse. From planning a future to stepping into it.

Because I had already photographed their engagement session, everything felt natural and effortless. There was already comfort. Familiarity. Trust.

📸 THE BEAUTY OF CONSISTENCY

When the same creative vision documents both your engagement and wedding, something special happens.

Your story feels cohesive from start to finish.

Your personalities are already understood.

Your comfort in front of the camera is stronger.

There’s no adjustment period. No learning curve. Just genuine moments unfolding naturally.

The lighting style, the editing tone, the storytelling approach — everything flows seamlessly. Your engagement gallery and wedding memories don’t feel like separate events. They feel like chapters of the same love story.

🤍 A TRUE FULL CIRCLE MOMENT

Watching Lashunda walk down the aisle after photographing her as a newly engaged bride-to-be a year prior was surreal. It reminded me why I love what I do.

Photography isn’t just about pretty pictures.

It’s about preserving transitions. Growth. Milestones.

Lashunda and Harold allowed me to witness their evolution — and that’s something I’ll always be grateful for.

✨ FINAL THOUGHTS

If you’re newly engaged and planning your Florida destination wedding, think beyond the single day.

Think about the journey.

Your engagement session is the beginning.

Your wedding day is the promise fulfilled.

And having consistency in how your story is documented ensures your love story is told beautifully and authentically — from “Will you?” to “I do.”

Lashunda and Harold’s story will always be one of my favorite full circle moments. 🤍💍

From fiancé… to forever.
